Oh gosh, dont be sorry at all! I love questions! I’ve just been an on & off again workout crazy person for the past 6 years, so I’ve done a LOT of research & asked a LOT of questions. However now i’m on a steady workout regimen.
*THIS* is a calculator that will help you. I was shooting for 1000 calories a day, but since I’ve upped my workout (twice, 4-6 days a week, depending on when i think my muscles need rest) so I had to end up adding about 400 calories & weight is DROPPING. I was totally w you, my #s weren’t moving! You need food in you so that when you workout your body doesn’t start to store fat & keep it!:)
I changed to 3 healthy-portioned meals & 2 small snacks(3 if i have a big workout) a day. My snacks are usually fruit or quaker oat low cal bars or veggies. & about 90% of my entire diet consists of fruit, veggies, nuts & whole grains. But i’ve really backed down on bread & sweets (which now, don’t even taste all that good anymore)
